Good, reliable hosting for a small site

I need a web hosting that is reliable and good. I’ve had a really bad experience with some Russian hosing and now I want something RELIABLE, something that works. I need it for a personal website / gallery – so I do not need a lot of webspace or traffic. So I’m looking for a good company that has a plan for a small business / personal site.

You can upload your own HTML very easily using its web folder – drag and drop. It has no ads and has 500mb of web space. MS is giving a free domain name for the 1st year (you can still have a sub-domain to use if you don’t want the domain).

It’s very reliable and they have been in business for a long time with a broad customer base. Slight more expensive than others, but you get quality in return (both up-time and customer support). Many places say they offer unlimited bandwidth and disk space – that’s just a marketing trick and no way they can actually fulfill that promise.
